Eid in the Park is back!

Eid in the Park 2018

It’s bigger and better than ever – Join the Assunnah community in a memorable Eid event

Eid ul-Fitr (literal translation Festival of Fast-Breaking) is one of the main festivals of the Islamic (Muslim) calendar marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan when Muslims all over the world bring 29/30 days of fasting to a close. Eid is a time of celebration and great religious significance for Muslim communities across the world who gather for a day of unity and forgiveness.
We know from the tradition of Prophet (saw) that he always prayed the Eid Salaah outside.

Eid in the Park aims to revive the tradition of having the Eid ceremony outdoors, yet providing a fun and engaging opportunity for people to enjoy Eid with their friends, family and close ones.

Our last Eid in the Park event (2018) was attended by approximately 5,000 people which were enjoyed by the whole family and community.

The day will include a wide range of activities as follows:

Eid Prayers:  Amongst thousands of worshippers from all race, colour, backgrounds, and financial status. Feel the unity of the Ummah in this unique opportunity to remember Allaah together.
